Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. That means if you click one and buy something, I earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.

I want to be upfront about how this works.

What this means in practice

When I recommend a product, I sometimes link directly to the retailer. If you buy through that link, the retailer pays me a percentage of the sale. The price you pay is identical whether you use my link or go directly to the site yourself.

I’m currently an affiliate for Amazon Associates.

What this doesn’t change

My testing process is the same regardless of commission rate. I’ve recommended products with zero affiliate program and skipped products that pay well because they weren’t good enough.

Every review on this site includes at least one real flaw I found during testing. If I can’t find something honest to criticize, I don’t publish the review.

The products I link to are ones I’d buy again with my own money. Several of them I did buy with my own money before any affiliate relationship existed.

FTC compliance

This disclosure complies with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). All affiliate links use the rel="sponsored" attribute as required.

If you have questions about any specific recommendation or want to know whether a product was tested before or after an affiliate relationship was established, contact me.
